Why is orange that popular and are all oranges the same?

According to studies and surveys, oranges are one of the three most popular fruits in the world. Behind this popularity lies orange’s health benefits and low caloric value. It is high in vitamin C and folate (vitamin B9), as well as a wide range of other essential nutrients. Oranges are helpful for people suffering from obesity because they have only 47 calories per 100 grams. However, not all oranges are the same, and there are many more different kinds of oranges than you can imagine.

Starting with the taste, there are two types of oranges: sweet and bitter. Within these two types, there are many varieties, like the Valencia orange, Kozan orange, Blood orange, Washington orange, clementine, tangerine, tangelo, tangor and pomelo. For example, Valencia orange is one of the sweetest orange varieties in the world, and in our orange products, we make use of this type of orange in addition to Kozan and Washington types.

The different types of oranges have varying degrees of sweetness, but most have a sweet taste with a slightly acidic flavor. Because of this wide range of flavors and sizes, they can also be used in many different recipes as an ingredient or as garnish to make your dish more colorful and appetizing.
